What is Metasender?
Plus Icon for Accordion

Metasender is a platform designed to streamline the distribution of ERC20 tokens and NFTs across multiple blockchains, including Avalanche, Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, Fantom, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Linea, as well as their respective testnets.

It facilitates efficient and secure multi-send transactions, allowing users to send thousands of tokens or NFTs to multiple addresses in a single click.

The platform integrates seamlessly with various wallets via the Web3 modal, making it easy for users to connect and execute transactions. Metasender is ideal for anyone looking to distribute digital assets quickly and reliably, saving both time and resources.

How much time does a transaction take?

The completion time for a transaction on Metasender typically ranges from 1 to 3 minutes. However, this duration can vary depending on the gas price set for the transaction and the current level of network congestion on the blockchain you are using.

Higher gas prices can lead to faster transaction confirmations, while lower prices might result in longer wait times, especially during periods of high network traffic. It is advisable to check the network conditions at the time of your transaction for a more accurate estimate.

How does Metasender work?

Metasender operates through a user-friendly process that integrates with your blockchain wallet via the Web3 modal. Here’s a quick rundown of how it works:

1 - Connect Your Wallet: Start by connecting your wallet using options like Metamask, WalletConnect, etc., to authenticate your identity.

2 - Select Your Asset Type: Choose the type of asset you want to send—whether it's the blockchain's native currency, an ERC20 token, or an NFT (ERC1155 or ERC721).

3 - Choose Your Blockchain: Select the blockchain network where you want to execute the transactions.

4 - Specify Your Asset's Contract Address: Input the contract address of the asset you're distributing. Metasender can automatically detect and fill in this information for assets in your connected wallet.

5 - Input Recipient Addresses: Enter the details of the recipients, including their addresses and, for NFTs, the specific IDs and quantities of the tokens to be sent.

6 - Verification and Approval: Review all details and approve the transaction. Metasender provides an initial estimate of the gas and service fees at this stage.

7 - Execute the Send Command: Confirm the transaction on your wallet, and Metasender will handle the distribution to the listed addresses.

Is Metasender secure?
Plus Icon for Accordion

Yes, Metasender is designed with security as a top priority. The platform employs several measures to ensure the safety and integrity of your transactions:

1 - Wallet Integration: Metasender uses secure Web3 modal integration, which allows users to connect their wallets safely without exposing private keys or sensitive information.

2 - Smart Contract Verification: All transactions are executed through verified smart contracts on their respective blockchains. Users are welcome to view and verify these contracts themselves to ensure authenticity and security.

3 - Limited Permission Request: Metasender only requests access to the specific assets and quantities that you intend to send, without requiring unnecessary permissions. This minimizes risk and keeps your other assets secure.

4 - Data Privacy: Personal data and transaction details are handled with strict confidentiality, ensuring that your information is not shared or exposed to unauthorized parties.

For users looking for further assurance, we recommend reviewing our security practices and user testimonials on our website. Additionally, always ensure that your wallet software is up-to-date and that you follow best practices for digital security.

How much does it cost?
Plus Icon for Accordion

The cost of each transaction on Metasender ranges between $50 to $80, depending on various factors such as the type of asset being sent and the current network conditions.

Transactions are paid through the contract on the native token blockchain, which means the price can vary with fluctuations in the native token's value. It's important to note that transactions involving tokens are generally less expensive than those involving NFTs. Also, there is a cap of 400 addresses per transaction.

If you need to send assets to more than 400 addresses, such as 800 addresses, you will need to conduct multiple transactions, effectively doubling your transaction costs for that batch.

Before initiating a transaction, you will have the opportunity to access an estimate of the transaction costs, allowing you to make informed decisions about your asset distribution.

Which wallets are you supporting?

Yes, Metasender supports testing on various Testnets, allowing users to safely try out the platform without using real assets. This feature is particularly beneficial for developers and users who wish to experiment with the platform's capabilities before committing real resources. The Testnets supported by Metasender include:

- Ethereum Testnet: Rinkeby, which simulate the Ethereum network.

- Binance Smart Chain Testnet: Offers a way to test BSC-based transactions.

- Polygon (Matic) Testnet: Allows testing of Polygon network transactions.

- Avalanche Fuji Testnet: For testing transactions on the Avalanche network.

- Fantom Testnet: Supports testing on the Fantom network.

- Arbitrum Rinkeby Testnet: Ideal for experimenting with Arbitrum's layer-2 solutions.

- Optimism Kovan Testnet: For testing Optimism transactions.

- Linea Testnet: Supports testing on the Linea network. These Testnets provide a risk-free environment to understand how Metasender works and to ensure that everything functions as expected before proceeding with actual transactions on the mainnet.

For guidance on how to configure and use Metasender on a Testnet, please visit our tutorial page or contact our support team for assistance.

Is there a limit I should know about?
Plus Icon for Accordion

Yes, there are important limits to be aware of when using Metasender, particularly regarding the number of recipient addresses per transaction. Due to blockchain address limits and to optimize transaction efficiency and reliability, Metasender has set specific restrictions:

- Maximum Addresses per Transaction: If your batch transfer includes more than 400 addresses, Metasender will automatically split the batch into multiple transactions to comply with blockchain address limits. Each batch can have a cap of 400 addresses.

- Single Transaction Capability: For batches with fewer than 400 addresses, only a single transaction is required.

These limits help ensure that each transaction is processed smoothly and without overwhelming the network, which can lead to delays or increased fees. It's also important to note that these limits may vary depending on network congestion and the specific blockchain being used.
